NANC Annual General Event '08 in Beijing (13th Dec)
- Alumni of the Year Awards -
As China has been speeding up its development and playing a steadily more important role in international stage, more and more Dutch companies have taken a step in the Chinese market. Meanwhile, many Holland-return alumni have started to work for Dutch companies in China. The Netherlands Alumni Network in China (NANC) is and will be always committed in offering a platform for its members in order to reflect its international character and to promote direct cross-national networking opportunities.
The NANC Annual General Event (AGE) has been initialized as a review of the alumni events and activities organized throughout the year. The purpose is to get all alumni together to recall the cheerful memorable times they have had in the past, and to drive more attention from them in playing a role of ‘image ambassador’ in their field of profession. The first NANC Annual General Event was organized last year in Shanghai. It turned out to be a very successful event, which had covered many attentions from the Dutch society in Shanghai (China) as well as from the Holland-returned alumni than ever before.
On behalf of NANC board, I am pleased to announce that NANC will initiate the ‘Alumni of the Year Awards’ for the very first time during the 2nd Annual General Event on December 13th, 2008 in Beijing in order to honor alumni who have distinguished themselves for their excellent and sustained contributions and achievements in their fields of profession, as well as those who have provided outstanding services and contributed to the interests of NANC in 2008.
The event will be sponsored by Neso China and other business sponsors. It is open for all NANC members and Dutch alumni who have not registered as NANC members yet.
